Grimhall Duskbelt#

Summary#

Grimhall Duskbelt is Gruvelda Duskbelt’s brother and a dwarven lord of the Duskbelt clan, whose home is in the Thornwood Vale. He is responsible for protecting his clan from the shadows and ghouls that “make their way down into the Vale,” a problem he believes originates in the town above (Everdale) rather than in the Vale itself. Current Status#

Not yet encountered. Gruvelda recommended the party seek him out if they ever travel to the Vale, saying he may have work and coin for true ghost hunters. Source: 2026.05.19.

Notes#

• Gruvelda passed word to him that the party handled the ghost problem at the Stone Sanctum in Everdale.
• The shadows and ghouls troubling his clan may be connected to the same supernatural forces the party encountered at the Stone Sanctum.
• He is characterized by Gruvelda as someone who does not hand out coin lightly and will need proof of results.

Relationships#

• Gruvelda Duskbelt: His sister. She vouches for the party to him.
• Cassian, Aldric, Azrith, Odine Dunmere: Prospective ghost hunters he may hire.
