Summary#

House Westermere is a fallen noble house of Havenport. Its cliffside home, Westermere Manor, now stands ruined above the town. “Many catastrophes” led to the house’s fall, and Havenport has been in disarray ever since. The manor looks 10–15 years abandoned. Source: 2026.09.22.

Notes#

• Aldric has “heard of their fall” but avoids Havenport’s history. He left town roughly eight or nine years ago.
• The only known member is the ghost Samantha Westermere, who died in the manor’s undercroft.
• Its liege house and the details of its fall are unknown.
• House Wulfhelm killed them. Samantha revealed that Beowyn Wulfhelm and Eodwin Wulfhelm learned something dire about House Wulfhelm — a secret they hoped to keep quiet. Wulfhelm knew the Westermeres knew, and staged a trap. The entire family went missing in an instant; all that remained was a black wall of force blocking the undercroft. • The Wither began creeping into Havenport after the fall, starting with two or three individuals a year and accelerating over five or six years until the town lost its economy, infrastructure, populace and trade. Source: 2026.09.29.
